"In 1993 I was a senior in high school. I have had art exhibits in several galleries in Montana. My designs have become everything from tattoos to business logos. New Canaber Tales is the tenth comic book I have illustrated. My work also includes illustrations for two children’s books."

"I have enjoyed storytelling since a high school English teacher gave me carte blanche with creative writing assignments way back in the mid 1990s. I write poetry, songs, short stories, and the occasional comic book. I have a PhD in English and work full time leading an IT Project Management team for a university in Texas."
In high school, during the mid 90s, we were comic book geeks. Spiderman (Sam and Tobey's version) and the X-Men movies were paving the way to Hollywood for superheroes. Image Comics was born and everyone started collecting. We decided to create our very own comic books. We created dozens of characters. We had big dreams to form our own comic book company.
Life happens differently than our dreams. We graduated and moved on, got families, and aged as gracefully as we could, but never lost our love of comic books and the heroes in those pages. So all these years later, we are still proud comic book geeks and storytellers. A few years ago, we reconnected and decided to resume our creative journey with the characters we’d created years before. Revisiting Breeze and her family felt like picking up a conversation right where we’d left it. In high school it had been a dream. This time it was for the purpose of bringing our characters to life in a comic book extravaganza of excitement, humor and heart.
Soon, you can read a comic book decades in the making. It’s the tale of Alexis and Elijah Pennant, a typical married working couple who fight crime as part of an elite police force called the Watchdogs in New Canaber, Washington. Code-named Breeze and Bayonet, they are also working parents, raising their daughter Sarah in the city they call home. They are joined by a sweet-hearted yellow behemoth called Grudge, and a flesh-incarnated angel who goes by the name Mr. Webster.
Far more than a team, they are a family.
These are their stories and we are so happy to tell them.
